Terry Bradshaw at The Vogel: A Football Legend, Up Close
Four Super Bowls, a Hall of Fame career, and a second act as one of the most recognizable voices on television. On Tuesday, October 14, Terry Bradshaw brings “A Moderated Conversation and Q&A” to The Vogel at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, and it is a different kind of sports night.
This is not a stand-up set or a highlight reel. It is a sit-down about a life — the football, the broadcasting, and the harder stuff Bradshaw has been open about, from depression to a cancer battle to his faith. The show is tied to his memoir, Looking for Terry, and every ticket comes with a copy of the book.
An Intimate Room
The Vogel is a small room where nobody is more than a few rows from the stage. That is exactly the right setting for a conversation like this — a venue this size is where an interview becomes something you are actually in the room for, rather than watching a big head on a video screen. Doors open at 6:00, show at 7:00.

The Drive
Red Bank is a haul from North Jersey — roughly 50 to 60 minutes from most of Bergen County, straight down the Parkway. It is a real drive, so treat it like one: leave with time to spare, and the Parkway is a much better road when you are not racing it.
Parking in Red Bank is manageable — street parking, public lots, and a municipal garage all sit within a short walk of the theater. Get there in the late afternoon and the whole thing relaxes.
Make a Day of Red Bank
If you are driving that far for an evening show, show up early and use the afternoon. Red Bank's downtown is built for walking — food, shops, and the Navesink River all within a few blocks of the theater. Eat before the show, and the drive stops being a drive and becomes part of the day.
The Car Part
An hour each way is a real drive, which is exactly when you want to do it in a car you enjoy sitting in. Bring a couple of friends who care about football, split the gas, and one person handles the Parkway while the rest argue about the best Bradshaw Super Bowl. Something comfortable on the highway makes an hour feel like twenty minutes.
That is the whole point of a night like this: a legend up close, a good meal, and an easy drive home.
Your Ride to the Show
One vehicle, one parking fee, and everyone gets home in the same car. Grab a three-row for the crew, or something electric for the quiet ride home.
